We are looking for a Procurement Governance Manager to ensure completeness of and updated global procurement processes & guidelines, safeguarding that the organization adheres to all relevant regulations, industry standards and internal policies. At Novonesis, Global Procurement plays a key role in enabling a sustainable, resilient, and efficient supply chain across our global footprint. As part of the Procurement Excellence team, you will be at the heart of our mission to unlock insights how procurement processes can be conducted in the most efficient and effective way while ensuring compliance and sustainability.
To support the business needs of today and tomorrow you will collaborate closely with procurement, adjacent functions (e.g. quality, compliance), process and product owners as well as procurement leaders across the globe.
In this role, you will make an impact by:
- Ensure process governance by defining, communicating and implementing process governance to secure standardized, lean, agile and efficient process landscape.
- Develop, maintain and harmonize global procurement policies, guidelines, processes and tools to ensure an efficient way of working as well as transparency.
- Drive, support and monitor global implementation of procurement best practices, ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations, monitor regulatory changes and perform training programs.
- Define a regulatory compliance register for procurement to identify regulatory obligations including legislation, regulations, rules, codes and guidance and perform tracking of those obligations.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and help to develop action plans to address them.
- Support data driven culture and ensure the availability of up-to-date, integrated, and consistent procurement data and monitoring of procurement performance and compliance.
- Leading change management and training efforts globally, ensuring the successful adoption of procurement standards across the organization.
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- 5+ years of experience in procurement with at least 2 years of professional experience in compliance and/or risk management - preferably from large, complex, and global organizations.
- Strong understanding of source-to-pay (S2P) and supplier lifecycle management processes.
- Expertise in implementing organizational and procedural requirements for governance systems (e.g. compliance, risk management) and strong interest in regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.
- Solid analytical, fact based, strong conceptual skills with strengths in designing and implementing effective processes at a global level.
- Service oriented with a strong ability to challenge, influence and align across functions and seniority levels.
- Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management and the courage to drive decisions, not just facilitate them.
