We are facing an exciting future with considerable growth and demanding changes, as we deliver advanced technologies and mission critical solutions for the defense and aerospace industry. Our systems provide security for people on land, at sea and in the air. Therefore, we are looking for an IT Project Manager to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.
Your role in our team
As our new IT Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving the successful planning, execution, and delivery of our ERP implementation and upgrade projects. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring smooth integration of ERP systems.
You will join Terma’s Global IT organization, consisting of approximately 80 employees working across Denmark and internationally. The department is organized into dedicated teams covering infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and ERP solutions, enabling close collaboration with business units across Terma.
Your role will involve working closely with various stakeholders, both internally across global teams and externally with implementation partners. Therefore, it is essential that you have excellent communication skills to effectively translate complex technical requirements into clear and actionable plans.
This position is primarily based at our headquarters in Lystrup, and candidates able to work from this location are preferred.
How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:
- Lead full lifecycle ERP implementation projects including planning, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Operations, HR, Supply Chain, etc.) and external vendors to ensure project requirements are met
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, business users, and executive sponsors
- Monitor project progress and generate status reports, highlighting key risks, issues, and mitigation plans
- Ensure ERP system configurations meet business needs and comply with best practices
- Support post-implementation support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain documentation for project plans, configurations, decisions, and lessons learned
Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:
- Proven experience with ERP systems
- Strong understanding of business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Operations
- Ability to analyze and optimize business processes to align ERP systems with organizational needs
- Practical experience applying project management methodologies and tools
As a person, you are a structured and proactive team player who thrives in dynamic environments. You excel at bringing cross-functional teams together, managing complex projects, and keeping timelines and budgets on track. With your strong communication skills, you easily translate technical details into clear actions for both technical and business stakeholders. You stay calm under pressure, focus on solutions, and drive projects toward successful outcomes.
We are an international company representing world-class expertise, delivering complex and high-tech products. We value our colleagues and our meaningful contributions to securing people through advanced technology. You will also experience that we have a strong focus on your development, teaching you useful new competences and further strengthening current ones, both professionally and personally. Our company culture is autonomous and engaging, and we acknowledge the importance of flexibility in a great working environment.
