Join Our Team as our new Graphic Designer!
We’re on the lookout for a skilled and curious Graphic Designer who is motivated by creating impactful visual communications and who wants to join an imaginative and collaborative in-house team.
In this role, you will be part of the Creative In-house Agency within the Marketing & Commercialization function of the Hearing Division at GN. You’ll design engaging communication materials with a digital-first approach, ensuring alignment with our business and marketing strategies. Your creativity will shine as you create eye-catching graphics for various platforms – like brochures, one-pagers, product displays, social posts, and more. -that bring our new hearing aids to life across our brands: ReSound, Beltone, Interton, and Danavox. Your work will support global Launches reaching over 100 markets.
About Our Team:
We are the creative core of the organization, managing the visual identity and messaging across our Hearing brands and channels. Our goal is to differentiate our brands from the competition and connect with our audience on an emotional level. You will join a diverse team of designers, copywriters, and creative project managers who value collaboration, commitment to quality, and a positive work environment.
Your Contributions Will Include:
- Presenting layouts and concepts to global stakeholders, gaining their buy in creating engaging graphical assets for various platforms.
- Reviewing and providing feedback for improvement on existing templates and presentations.
- Using Figma to create templates to collaborate with Copywriters and Product Marketers to align overall scope of an asset before doing the final design in Adobe software.
- Being a creative driver for photoshoots, working on concepts, pre-production, and execution in collaboration with art directors and photographers to bring creative visions to life.
- Creating templates for scalable solutions to enable non-designers to create on-brand assets.
- Reviewing campaign assets from markets and colleagues, providing constructive feedback to enhance quality and ensure brand compliance.
- Applying your experience with print production
- Maintaining and organising asset libraries such as icon or photo libraries to ensure consistency across designs and brands.
- Structuring design files and understanding and applying naming conventions to maintain an organised overview of graphic productions.
To Thrive in This Role, You Should Have:
- Creative thinking skills, with the ability to generate ideas and translate them into effective designs.
- Proficient skills within graphic design
- Experience with print production, including technical knowledge for preparing layouts for print.
- Advanced skills in typography, focusing on clarity in text hierarchy, alignment, and composition to facilitate effective communication.
- Demonstrated understanding of cross-media design, communication, and storytelling techniques.
- The ability and curiosity to understand technical products like hearing aids and simplify complex information for effective communication.
- A digital-first mindset with proficient design skills.
- Experience thriving in an agile, dynamic, and international environment.
- A desire to innovate and adapt content by leveraging trends and best practices.
- A keen interest in generative AI to optimize creative processes such as brainstorming and visual mock-ups.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and Microsoft Office.
- A collaborative spirit, believing that the best work results from teamwork.
- effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate and convey ideas clearly.
- A critical thinking mindset capable of simplifying complex situations through questioning and proposing solutions.
- An efficient and forward-thinking, yet highly collaborative approach.
- English communication skills, both written and verbal.
