Your challenges
As our new Financial Controller, you will join our Finance Management Team at VELUX Commercial and you will gain experience with made-to-order production, project sales to architects and entrepreneurs and much more.
Today, VELUX Commercial consists of multiple legal entities. Collaborating across all these entities, you will gain an in-depth understanding of all business aspects from strategies and targets to products and processes. You will be using both SAP and Navision (Business Central) as ERP systems. You will build valuable knowledge of the context in which we operate, so you will be able to document, support and challenge the business on performance opportunities and issues.
Occasional travel (approx 25 days per year) are required.
Your primary tasks include:
- Function as a finance partner towards our entities in the Nordic region of VELUX Commercial Sales (Denmark, Sweden and Norway), supporting our VELUX Commercial strategies, assisting us in translating them into specific business plans
- Prepare monthly financial performance follow-ups and present monthly financial reports
- Assist in the yearly target processes, covering the entire supply chain: Supply, Sales, Product Development, Marketing, etc
- Drive changes from idea to execution: You will have the freedom and responsibility to take ideas from concept to implementation, where your decisions have a direct impact on the business.
- Shape the financial direction: You can help shape strategic decisions and translate them into concrete, measurable results across the entire organization.
- Challenge and improve processes: We expect you to be able to identify opportunities, challenge the status quo and implement solutions that create value.
Your qualifications
You have a proactive attitude and love taking on new tasks. You have an entrepreneur mindset, finding motivation in creating the right dashboards and systems to be able to help the Commercial business and production You are a team player; an excellent communicator and you collaborate easily with people from different backgrounds.
- Have a master’s degree in Finance and experience in Controlling
- Can communicate fluently in Danish and have strong English language skills (both spoken and in writing)
- Other language skills such as Swedish, Norwegian and German would be an advantage
