A visionary Director, Global Distribution is sought after to be a part of Global Distribution & Logistics Team working in conjunction with Regional Supply Chain and Functional Partners. We are looking for someone who is passionate about crafting innovative logistics strategies that align with ambitious business goals while championing sustainability and operational excellence!
Core Responsibilities
- Co-create and execute the global logistics and distribution strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Oversee global warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable delivery performance.
- Lead transformation initiatives including automation, digital enablement, and supply chain innovation.
- Build and scale future-ready logistics capabilities, ensuring operational resilience and adaptability.
- Champion sustainability and carbon reduction in logistics operations through responsible sourcing, greener transportation modes, and energy-efficient warehousing.
- Partner with regional and functional leaders to implement best-in-class logistics solutions across all markets.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators, ensuring continuous improvement and service excellence.
- Lead and develop a high-performing global logistics team and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Ensure effective governance, processes and ways of working in place to drive, update progress and approve key strategic initiatives.

With this role, we will further elevate our agenda on Global Distribution with overall responsibility for direction setting and defining strategic principles as well as global escalations.
Do you have what it takes
- Strong e2e supply chain understanding
- Experience working in distribution/ logistics
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills including significant self awareness and ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences including executive leaders
- Experience navigating global/ complex organisation(s) including collaborating across matrix organizations, preferably in a strategic capacity
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global colleagues including working with different cultures, in different timezones and in different formats (online and offline)
- Strong business acumen with ability to balance strategic mindset with being highly data driven
- Self-motivated, persistent and with a can- do attitude.
- It would be beneficial to have experience working in a similar Logistics Strategy role for a large multinational or for a top tier consultancy firm
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
