We are looking for a volunteer who wants to cook with residents of Værested Bredgade. It's not about being a master chef - just that you want to have a nice time together, be together and spread your joy for cooking.
You are not alone - an employee is there to create the framework so that you are introduced and well supported. You get the opportunity to make a difference for citizens who appreciate community, good experiences and meals. And you have great opportunities to put your own stamp on the activity in collaboration with the citizens. You also get meaningful experiences and positive citizen contact, and make a difference in their lives and they make a difference in your life...
We imagine that it should be every 14 days or once a month and the duration is approximately two to three hours.
There is almost free choice on all shelves. It can be Monday, Tuesday or Thursday between 3-7 pm or Saturday between 10 am and 5 pm.
Værested Bredgade is an offer for citizens with challenges, such as cognitive ones, who live in their own homes in Kalundborg Municipality, and are motivated and happy about the community around cooking - they just need you to show the way and be the initiator.
We are located at Bredgade 38, 4400 Kalundborg and are part of the Social Adult Area, Center 2.
