Your Role

As an Agreements Sales Executive, you will play a key role in developing our sales portfolio in close collaboration with our global sales organization. You will be part of the Owner Agreements department, based at our headquarters in Esbjerg, working alongside four colleagues in Denmark and four in Bulgaria, reporting to the Owner Agreements Manager.

The department supports VIKING’s global sales teams with service agreement sales across all product areas. We hold the overall commercial responsibility for VIKING’s Shipowner Agreement (SOA) concept, including sales support, process development, and contract negotiation.

This is a unique opportunity for someone motivated by commercial development, sales processes, optimization, and automation – all within a global organization driven by a strong mission to save lives.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will act as a commercial link between our internal sales teams and the market, with the overall goal of identifying future sales opportunities and growth areas. Success will depend on your ability to collaborate across departments and regions.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting global sales teams in tenders and contract negotiations

  • Ensuring high-quality support in all aspects of service agreement sales

  • Driving improvements and development of sales concepts and processes

  • Participating in customer meetings when needed

  • Ensuring global sales teams are trained and updated on concepts and processes

  • Staying informed about market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities

  • Managing sales pipelines and contributing to global sales targets

You will receive thorough onboarding and ongoing support to ensure you’re well-equipped for the role.
Expect approximately 30–50 travel days per year.

Your Profile

You have experience in a similar commercial role and an educational background that matches the level of responsibility. Maritime or shipping industry experience is a plus, but not a requirement.

Most importantly, you’re motivated by creating results and can act as a trusted sparring partner for our sales teams.

We expect you to have:

  • Experience driving sales projects, change initiatives, and process improvements

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

  • A commercial approach and the ability to work independently and proactively

You’re ambitious, dedicated, and a supportive team player.
As our corporate language is English, you must be fluent in both Danish and English – written and spoken.
