We are currently looking for a dedicated Student Assistant to join our Financial Controlling and Compliance team in Copenhagen. It is a unique opportunity to join a driven team where you can contribute to a range of dynamic activities supporting DFDS’s external reporting process.
In this role, you will be supporting our monthly closing, controlling and reporting processes. You will be sparring with stakeholders to understand the drivers behind changes in our financial results.
You will have the opportunity to learn and apply concepts relevant to your studies in practice, assisting with, for example, calculation of incremental borrowing rate and performing business valuations.
When supporting the publication of DFDS’s annual report, you will be in contact with important stakeholders not only from the business, but also from Treasury, Investor Relations, Group Sustainability and our business partners.
What kind of exciting challenges can you expect to meet in this role?
As a student assistant in our team, you will have varied tasks supporting the closing, monthly controlling and external reporting processes. In addition, you will be planning and organising the team’s activities.
The working hours will be approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility for exams.
About you

With this in mind, we think that you will be studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, engineering etc. - however, other fields of study may also be considered.
The ideal person for this position will have the following qualifications:
- Currently studying the last year of a bachelor’s, or the first year of a master’s - preferably within finance, business administration & auditing, economics, accounting or similar
- Fluency in written and spoken English and feel comfortable communicating with various stakeholders
