Be the new Statistical Programmer
We are looking for an experienced Statistical Programmer, who has a strong interest in working with clinical data and experience with statistical programming using SAS. As a Statistical Programmer, you will be responsible for statistical programming aspects of the assigned clinical trials and contribute to regulatory submissions and regulatory requests. As a cross-functional trial team member, you will actively be involved in ensuring the structure and documentation of databases, data quality and be part of evaluating clinical data. You will be part of the Biometrics Department, currently consisting of 6 data managers, 7 statistical programmers and 11 statisticians. The department contributes to the overall clinical development strategy of Zealand’s compounds and provides expertise in design and methodology, data capturing, data structure, conduct, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials. Together we are responsible for ensuring scientific integrity, quality of clinical trial data, data standards and oversight of outsourced Biometrics activities. The general business model at Zealand is that nearly all aspects of trial conduct are outsourced, however statistical programming and biostatistics deliverables have been handled internally for some trials.
Responsibilities
- Define, lead, and provide oversight of statistical programming activities of assigned clinical trials
- Participate in Request for Proposal and CRO selection
- Review of statistical programming deliverables from external partners and CROs
- Ensure CDISC (SDTM and ADaM) data standards requirements across all clinical trials
- Experience in programming tables, figures and listings
- Experience in programming SDTM and ADAM datasets.
- Support the development and maintenance of data standards
- Statistical programming on individual trials and on program level e.g., for regulatory submissions and/or regulatory requests
Candidate profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience within data science, natural or technical sciences or similar
- At least 5 years of experience with statistical programming within clinical development
- Experience with CDISC data standards
- Skilled programmer within SAS software package. R is a plus
- Experience with outsourcing of clinical trial activities including review and oversight of statistical programming deliverables
- Takes initiative and collaborate effectively, but also with the ability to work independently as subject matter expert
