You will be part of the Group Offboarding Programme team. We are residing in Danske Banks Business Controls and Product Management division. We operate across the entire Group and lead transformational programmes for both Danske Bank and its subsidiaries across all of our markets, functioning as a Group-wide consultancy and transformation unit.

The role
As a Programme Manager, you will take on the role as HR manager for the Group Offboarding Programme team, and work with several tasks within the area of programme management, governance, reporting, and stakeholder management. You will work under the guidance of the Head of Customer Lifecyle Simplification, taking up responsibility within the programme and its workstreams, while also driving specific initiatives that require strong programme management expertise.
Your tasks will span from:
- Assuming HR leadership of the Group Offboarding Programme by leading a global team of project managers, business analysts and data analysts across Denmark and Lithuania.
- Fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture while unlocking the potential of each team member. Your HR responsibilities will include onboarding and developing team members, implementing regular feedback and performance management processes, and supporting individual development and succession plans.
- Furthermore, you will address team challenges constructively and ensure alignment with Danske Bank’s policies, values, and strategic objectives.
- Establish the appropriate programme governance setup together with the project owner.
- Monitor overall progress and realisation of milestones and outcomes, including development of reports on the progress of the programme.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth execution of the programme, identifying and mitigating potential issues or risks.
- Ensure resolution of impediments and put in place governance to manage risks and dependencies.
- Preparation of management reporting for senior audiences
The job requires a high degree of independence and frequent interaction with relevant stakeholders.
You will proactively support the overall programme goals and you must be a strong team player and should find it refreshing to work at a high/executive level but also to roll up your sleeves to drive execution when needed.
About you

- Proven experience in programme/project management roles or other relevant leadership experience
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Structured approach, ability to take ownership and ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.
- Strong personal drive, work independently and can take charge of driving initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex challenges/issues in a simple manner to diverse audiences.
As a person, you are collaborative, energetic, proactive, and adaptable. You thrive on tackling interesting and complex challenges. Since we are an international organisation, fluency in English is required, in addition to a Scandinavian language.
