The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Biomanufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) team within the Life Science Business. This role is pivotal in providing scientific and technical expertise to our customers involved in the development and manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals. The primary focus will be on downstream technologies, particularly in the purification of monoclonal antibodies, advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs), recombinant proteins, plasma proteins, and vaccines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with process development, scale-up, technology transfer and implementation.
- Optimize production processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Produce documentation such as protocol and technical visit reports & recommendation.
- Troubleshoot customer applications and provide solutions.
- Deliver technical training and seminars, attend congresses, and represent customer needs to R&D and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with account managers and customer applications teams to solve complex challenges.
Who you are:
- Master’s, PhD, or Engineering degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or relevant fields.
- Practical experience in downstream process technologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in digital technologies.
- Collaborative mindset with adaptability to a multi-cultural environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within Denmark and the EMEA region.
