Are you interested in working with hearing instrument development with a strong focus on end user interaction? And are you comfortable working in a multidisciplinary, international environment?
If your answer is “Yes” you should come and join our first-class team with focus on improving quality of life for Hearing Impaired persons using cutting edge technology.
Making a Meaningful Impact
We’re looking for a motivated engineer with 3–5 years’ experience in system development to join our team. You’ll collaborate with experts to create solutions that truly improve the lives of our end users - people with hearing loss - and support hearing care professionals.
The Role
In your day-to-day work you will work as a part of a team practicing the Agile methodology in a SAFe setup. The team focus is on end user interaction with our devices.
Your role will involve understanding the current system architecture and system design of the Hearing Instrument Devices as well as ensuring that new audiological features and user interaction methods can be integrated seamlessly into the current system. This includes work on system level requirements, system design and working with our test developers to make sure the system can be tested accordingly.
The team you are a part of is central to the architecture of our device usability and interacts with many other teams and stakeholders across the company including embedded software teams, end user app teams and fitting software teams.
Your main Responsibilities
Joining us you can look forward to the following tasks:
- Development of requirements, system architecture and system design
- Play a central role in designing how our end users interact with our devices
- Work and communicate effectively within a team and manage stakeholders across different departments in the company.
- Follow the product development process from ideation and feature design to verification, defect analysis and resolution and final delivery and release
- Idea generation and innovation projects
We are a medical device company and therefore it´s also important that you can document and develop solutions of high quality to comply with standards of regulated bodies.
Could we be a match?
First and foremost, you can lead the development of technical solutions within a complex and regulated system. You work with diligence and attention to detail, while also maintaining a broader perspective - assessing how your decisions impact the system as a whole.
You should have a genuine and a keen interest in how end users engage with and perceive our devices.
On a personal level, you approach your work in a structured manner, and following guidelines and documentation comes naturally to you. You’re self-motivated and proactive, comfortable reaching out to and managing a wide range of stakeholders.
Experience in audiology, acoustics, or psychoacoustics would be advantageous, and it’s essential that you hold a BSc or MSc in engineering or a related field.
