As a Recruitment Consultancy, we are currently assisting our client in finding an Office Manager for work in Aarhus Area to ensures the smooth and efficient management of the entity. It involves its day-to-day operations, with responsibilities that encompass financial outcomes, customer relationship management and sales development, operational performance (including technical and quality compliance), legal compliance and HR development.

RESPONSABILITIES

    Operations and Customer care
    • Manage inspection operations and ensure that all inspectors complete their respective tasks to fully meet customer requirements, turnaround time, reliability, and quality targets.
    • Adjust operational processes that maximize throughput and productivity.
    • Propose and implement cost-reduction and/or asset utilization actions.
    • Ensure efficiency of the organization in resolving customer complaints, issues, and inquiries.
    • Address client's technical questions (verbal and written communication, meetings, conferences, etc).
    • Ensure efficiency of the organization in the preparation of client quotations and review quotes generated by others to ensure feasibility of scope, cost, timing, and deliverables.
    • Take full responsibility for ensuring we deliver certificates and analytical reports to clients on time, meeting all expectations and contractual agreements.
  • Financial Performance
    • Contribute to prepare and present the yearly Budget, including CAPEX needs.
    • Achieve the agreed budget targets and development objectives (organic / inorganic).
    • Monitor financial performance (EBIT, Revenue, Cash)
  • Sales
    • Nurture and strengthen existing customer relationships and drive incremental sales growth.
    • Contribute to define and execute, in cooperation and under the supervision of managers from the group, a development strategy.
    • Keeps abreast of market and industry trends, developments, technology, and the general environment.
  • Management
    • Develop and coach staff to address deficiencies, if identified.
    • Work with operational managers to develop training initiatives, to keep adequate level of expertise among the staff.
    • Responsible for Key management positions for Recruitment, Staff Motivation, Development, Quarterly / Annual Performance tracking, Retrenchments, Application of compensation and Statutory policies.
  • Compliance
    • Ensure entity fully adheres to the required standards and accreditations and the client quality standards.
    • Put in place all necessary initiatives to renew and/or upgrade standards and accreditations standards.
    • Coordinate, review, write and update unit documents, training records, methods and equipment validations.
    • Ensure that all operations are performed within a clean and safe working environment to staff and visitors.
    • Ensure full compliance with all Group procedures.
    • Manage statutory corporate affairs in accordance with local regulations.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in Bulk commodity sector, ideally within the Testing, Inspection and Certification business
  • 5+ years managerial and business development experience
  • Skilled in port operations, exposure to draft surveys a plus
  • Fluent in Danish and English
