OLA is an internal full-service agency servicing the internal business partners of the LEGO Group. The work spans broadly from communication strategies and concepts, to development of Design and visual identity, packaging, product, and campaign related assets of all kinds.
Our Business Partner Lead for the Masterbrand business is a senior member who is integral in driving our portfolio of Masterbrand projects with the full team.
Responsibilities
Overall, co-responsible (with Ops, Creative and Strategy Planning Leads) for the culture of the MB team, the quality of the work, delivery on time and working conditions on MasterBrand for OLA.
Stakeholder management and quality of internal partner relationships – you are responsible for these relationships and the spirit in which we partner with our key partners and stakeholders.
Set the standard and expectations for Business Partnering on MB – you are training and developing the business partner team on best practice account management and business leadership.
Selling the work – you are responsible for “selling” the work to our partners and avoiding the churn in development.
Lead and people manage 6 x full time project managers and communication partners – includes sparring on the work, supporting any escalation, removing roadblocks, professional development plans.
Being on top of our business performance and driving learnings from past programs and campaigns into our team.
Bringing other brand and competitive thinking and ideas into the team with regular competitive reviews and ensuring that we are learning and adopting outside in perspectives.
Develop strong relationships with our direct brand-owners, and key heads of departments in OLA.
Support the Head of Integrated Services and/or Head of Agency on new scope developments, working collaboratively with other agency departments, including OLA LT
Strong relationships with the hub leads - securing the necessary involvement of OLA Hubs to ensure that regional needs are being met and that regional amplification of campaigns continues in line with global strategy and concept
Requirements
Proven experience within a creative agency, where you have been the business or account lead running big global integrated businesses/clients or in a head of account management position.
Influential and a brilliant relationships person with a proven track record of making amazing creative work
Fluent in modern marketing models including social and experiential campaigns and programs
Super strategic with strong business acumen, communications and writing skills that include executive summaries, memos, pre-reads, briefs and presentation materials for very senior forums
Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, incl. C-suite.
A deep passion for creativity and creative effectiveness
Nice to have
Proactive mindset, takes initiative and runs at problems
Experience with sports or event based marketing
Solid understanding of social media and influencer landscape
Strong mentor to other business partner teams
