It’s not unusual to lead an efficient Production Support team, but in this role, you’ll have the chance to create from the scratch, setting up the bar of excellence at the birth of our new site.
Your new role
As the Manager for Production Support, you will play a critical role in securing validation of process and equipment by overseeing production activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while aligning with organizational goals. Your expertise will be fundamental in leading cross-functional teams toward achieving operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement efficient manufacturing strategies.
Your primary tasks will be to:
- Lead and manage teams across various manufacturing sub-functions to achieve operational excellence through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
- Oversee production activities to optimize resource utilization and maintain quality standards
- Translate organizational objectives into actionable manufacturing plans and identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements to support long-term goals
- Establish and enforce protocols to meet internal and external requirements and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Secure continued readiness for audits and reviews to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and if needed address non-compliance issues promptly and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes
- Identify inefficiencies and implement Lean or cLEAN methodologies to enhance processes and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization

In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.
You will join the Fill & Finish Expansion (FFEX) team, a group dedicated to building the factories of the future. Our dynamic and innovative environment provides ample opportunities for professional growth and development. Currently, we are expanding our production capabilities to reach more patients by constructing a new facility in Tietgenbyen in Odense. Qualifications
To be suitable for this role, we want you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree would be preferred, but not an requirement
- 5-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or production, including leadership roles
- Proven ability to manage complex operations and lead cross-functional teams
- Experience in setting strategies and optimizing processes in a manufacturing environment
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Danish

You thrive in leading teams through change and ensuring smooth transitions while managing human, material, and financial resources effectively.
