You will join a growing and ambitious team of program managers in the Global Operational Excellence and Digital Transformation TMO in Supply Chain. The team drives the planning and execution of strategic initiatives across our value chain – from farm to fridge – with a strong focus on our production operations. These include the portfolio management and scaling of digital solutions developed as part of Arla's Future26 strategy, the development and continuous improvement of the Arla Performance System, the establishment of functional communities and the engagement of stakeholders from the shopfloor to the executive level.
You will be part of a highly collaborative, international team working across Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the UK, and beyond. With teammates and stakeholders from multiple cultures, markets and functional areas across Supply Chain and IT, you will gain unparalleled exposure to diverse ways of thinking and get to proactively shape Arla’s digital agenda on a global scale. With your new team, you will support and empower colleagues at 50+ production sites with digital tools that will help them perform their day-to-day work more effectively.
How you will make an impact
As our new Global Digital Portfolio Manager, you will take a leading role in driving Arla’s digital transformation across Supply Chain. You will ensure strategic alignment, seamless governance, and operational excellence across a dynamic portfolio of digitalization initiatives. Acting as a trusted partner to senior leaders and functional experts, you will orchestrate cross-functional collaboration and shape key decisions that will ensure our digital tools deliver value at scale.
In this role, you will:
- Own and maintain the digital portfolio across Global Transformation and Excellence (GTE) functions, as well as other functional areas within SC, ensuring alignment with Arla’s strategic priorities
- Coordinate the digital development and roll-out roadmap and provide visibility on dependencies, timelines, and resource needs
- Lead portfolio governance and decision-making processes by supporting business case development, securing SteerCo sign-offs, managing stage gates, participating in PI Plannings, and facilitating funding approvals
- Facilitate cross-functional prioritization with Business Owners, Solution Owners, and IT stakeholders to enable effective resource allocation
- Track and report portfolio performance, ensuring transparency and accountability toward senior stakeholders
- Promote consistency and best practices across initiatives to strengthen delivery standards and digital maturity
- Act as the primary contact for the GTE portfolio towards Agile IT Release Trains and governance bodies, ensuring alignment between business and technology streams
What will make you successful?
We imagine that the ideal candidate comes with solid product, portfolio, or program management experience, combined with business development skills and a consulting-style approach to solving complex challenges. To succeed in this role, it is important that you have experience in driving transformation initiatives in a global FMCG company or multinational organization and are confident navigating complex matrixed environments. Furthermore, your ability to analyze and prioritize, create governance frameworks, and track performance enables you to deliver value at scale.
We are looking for an ambitious new member for our TMO who possesses:
- A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience leading transformation initiatives, preferably within central functions or at production/logistics sites
- Advanced program management capabilities, including governance design, prioritization frameworks, and performance tracking tools
- Strong business acumen and a consulting mindset for strategy development, business case creation, and executive-level support
- Confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from shopfloor teams to senior executives
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity in complex environments
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
