Region Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We aim to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas Northern and Central Europe the best place to work.
Service North is responsible for Service Sales, Commissioning, Service and Maintenance of the wind turbines within the UK/Ireland and Nordic countries. As Field Supervisor in PFO, Commissioning, Special Task you will be leading a team of technicians working in the field in all North - West countries.
Responsibilities
- Develop individual technicians and Team
- Ensure good collaborating and working environment
- Ensuring your employees are compliant with Vestas safety standards and processes
- Implement department strategic initiatives
- Continuously improve safety and enable effective operational performance
- Hiring and performance revision of your employees
Qualifications
- Experience with or insights into the daily work in WTGs
- Leads by example and able to motivate others
- Disciplined and able to collaborate actively in a leadership team
- Organized and methodical approach to work
- Ongoing commitment to enhancing safety, quality, and performance standards
- Fluent in Danish and professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written
Competencies
- Role model with a Safety and Compliance mindset
- Motivating, resourceful, and experienced in coaching others
- Good communications skills
- Self-organization
- Good IT skills, Microsoft Office, SAP, and Salesforce
