About Us:
Cadence is a vibrant brunch restaurant and bakery based in Copenhagen. As we expand and grow our bakery production hub in Herlev, we’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to support our team and help shape the next chapter of our journey.
Your Role:
As Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our bakery production, ensuring everything runs smoothly - from maintaining the facility and equipment to coordinating orders and supporting our customers. You’ll work closely with our head baker and restaurant managers to plan production, manage orders, and deliver the highest quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the bakery production hub
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained, safe, and operating efficiently
- Coordinate regular equipment servicing and troubleshooting as needed
- Manage B2B customer relationships, including order intake, scheduling, and customer service
- Work with restaurant managers to align on bakery orders, catering needs, and special event planning
- Support basic sales and account management for wholesale customers
- Use and maintain our ERP system to manage orders, track production, and ensure timely deliveries
- Assist in production planning alongside the head baker, ensuring output matches demand and maintains Cadence’s quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels of key ingredients and supplies, and manage ordering to support uninterrupted production
- Support process improvement initiatives to help the bakery grow and meet increased demand
- Foster a positive, collaborative team culture across the production and restaurant teams
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in operations management, preferably in food production, hospitality, or manufacturing
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- A proactive mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving
- Strong customer service orientation, with experience managing B2B relationships
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing needs
- A collaborative approach to working with production and service teams
