We are looking for a Technical Project Lead to align and orchestrate cross-disciplinary product development, ensuring our advanced systems work seamlessly from concept to launch.
Innovation across disciplines
As our new Technical Project Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all elements of our products, mechanics, electronics, and software, come together in a coherent and efficient system. You will guide the integration process from concept to release, ensuring design decisions across disciplines aligning with a unified system architecture.
This role is newly established, providing you with an exclusive opportunity to define your contributions and guide our approach to integrating and launching innovative products. Your focus will be on technical coordination, early risk identification, and continuous improvement of integration practices.
In this role, you will work on advanced systems that combine mechanics, electronics, and software. You will be the key driver, ensuring that all components integrate into a robust, reliable solution. Key responsibilities
- Define and maintain integration of build plans across disciplines.
- Plan and prioritize integration activities to reduce technical risk and accelerate system verification.
- Ensure transparency in technical maturity level with focus on targets and test results
- Facilitate technical discussions and agile planning sessions to ensure alignment on interfaces, dependencies, and system behavior.
- Initiate early prototyping and integration milestones to verify critical interactions.
- Identify and resolve integration challenges before they impact system performance or timelines.
- Promote a culture of transparency and continuous improvement in integration practices.
About your new team!
You will be part of the DGS R&D department, supporting multiple brands in hearing diagnostics. Our team of over 100 engineers spans mechanics, electronics, and software, with locations in Denmark, Poland, and Malaysia.
Your main base will be at our modern Interacoustics HQ in Middelfart, Denmark, reporting directly to the R&D Manager for Mechanics.

What we are looking for
- We expect you to hold a relevant engineering degree and imagine that you have:
- Extensive experience with system integration across hardware and software domains.
- Solid understanding of embedded systems, electronics, mechanics, and DSP.
- Skilled at coordinating complex technical initiatives across engineering teams.
- Solid understanding of iterative development and system verification practices.
- Great facilitation and communication skills to align teams on technical objectives.
- Effective ability to manage integration risks and dependencies.
- Focus on test results, fail fast and fact-based technical maturity assessments
- Solid project management skills and ability to coordinate complex initiatives effectively
- Able to communicate effectively in English.
