Student Assistant to Quality by Design team

Are you excited about organizing and presenting complex data to support pharmaceutical development? Would you like to gain practical experience with Quality by Design (QbD) methodology to develop pharmaceuticals with the patient in mind?
We’re looking for a Student Assistant to support three QbD managers in their daily tasks. The QbD team at Ferring Pharmaceuticals establish justifications for control strategies of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes by applying a data- and risk-based approach.
Your day at Ferring
You can expect to be part of a dynamic team and have close working relations with your colleagues within a multi-cultural and international environment.
Working time is 10-15 h per week, offering flexible working hours to accommodate academic commitments. The workplace is in Ferring’s spectacular brand-new facility located close to Copenhagen airport.
You will work alongside a team of experienced and skilled scientists. We have an open and informal working atmosphere and are passionate about leading pharmaceutical development through risk management and QbD principles.
The tasks
As part of the team, you will assist in various tasks and projects in the QbD team.
Your tasks will include:
- Structure and present complex information in Excel spreadsheets and Word documents
- Compare and map detailed and comprehensive information across different file formats (ex. Word documents, PDFs, Excel spreadsheets)
- Research and support for benchmarking QbD approaches across pharma industry
- Assist on automatization of report writing based on information in Excel spreadsheets

- Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong IT skills; proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- High proficiency in English, Danish optional
- Systematic, detail-orientated and self-driven organizer with a strong service- and quality mindset
- Responsible and proactive finisher who takes pride in solving tasks in a focused and timely manner.
- It’s an advantage, but not a requirement that you are: Comfortable with AI prompting, have experience in programming and/or technical writing in English
Working as a student within the QbD team will provide a unique opportunity to gain insights into the global pharmaceutical industry and how pharmaceuticals are developed.
