For our risk team, we are looking for a student assistant. As a student, you will assist in preparing various reports and analysis, assisting with financial controlling in both private and public companies, and you will gain insight into the daily tasks of a risk team. This will also give you an exposure to financial markets in general as well as specific companies based in emerging markets and will help you gain experience in financial analysis, markets and planning in an international setting.
The job
Your primary tasks as a student will be the following:
- Monthly reporting to Nationalbanken and various reports to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Assisting in periodical reporting to stakeholders
- Registering and validating financial input for the portfolio of investments
- Assisting in valuations in connection with preparation of accounts
- Ad hoc tasks, presentations, and financial analysis
We offer you employment in a unique organisation, where you will get experience working in an international business environment. The working hours are 15-20 hours per week. Your work can be arranged flexibly and according to your classes, exams etc.
The position is based in our headquarter on Fredericiagade 27, 1310 København K. Working from home may be allowed upon agreement.
Your qualifications & experience
We expect that you:
- study economics and business administration or similar and are on your second year of your BA or on your way to starting your MSc.
- are interested in financing and accounting and consider a master’s degree within these areas
- are an experienced user of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
- are proficient in English, both in writing and spoken
- are a good team player
- take pride in meeting agreed deadlines
- are thorough and good at documenting analyses and conclusions
