As a Student Analyst in the Irish and Maltese Business Development team, you will focus on supporting the growth and maintenance of the Irish and Maltese markets, including analysing market trends, assessing customer demands, and managing relationships with existing customers in Malta. You will play an active role in shaping operational procedures and will also provide ad hoc administrative support to the department. This role offers a high degree of trust and responsibility, making it both challenging and rewarding.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Conduct market research, commercial analysis, and tender evaluations, including preparing and submitting tenders
- Assist colleagues in developing and growing the Irish and Maltese sales market
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across departments
- Support daily operations through administrative tasks, operational projects, and occasional ad hoc assignments
Your Profile
We expect you to be self-driven and to have the maturity to take ownership and handle challenges with a can-do attitude. It is important that you thrive in a dynamic culture, bring an out-of-the-box mindset to work and have a structured approach to complex problems.
Furthermore, we imagine you:
- Are a 1st-year Master’s student
- Possess a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data
- Have a natural interest in business development and international trade
- Being comfortable in handling data sets with experience in python being beneficial but not mandatory
- Maintain excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
- Are fluent in English both written and verbal
