We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Spare-parts Manager to lead our Spare-parts Management (SPM) sub-department, a crucial component of our wider Supply Chain Management (SCM) team. This pivotal role will oversee the strategic procurement, comprehensive management, and efficient distribution of spare parts, playing a vital role in optimizing our operations and ensuring the seamless flow of essential components.
Key Responsibilities
As the Spare-parts Manager, you'll be responsible for:
Spare-parts Procurement & Forecasting: Executing and refining the entire spare-parts procurement process, including developing accurate forecasting models to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely availability of all required components.
Warehousing Management: Directing and overseeing all warehousing activities, which includes monitoring stock movements, managing infrastructure changes, identifying and implementing innovative warehousing solutions, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships within the warehouse environment.
Bill of Materials (BOM) Management: Reviewing the integration and functionality of Service BOMs to maintain accuracy and efficiency in the identification and utilization of spare parts across all relevant processes.
Vehicle Management: Managing and updating data related to vehicle assets, ensuring consistent alignment and effective coordination with all other involved departments.
Logistics & Shipments Management: Taking full responsibility for the efficient and cost-effective management of all shipments for both new and used bicycles within Europe, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
People Management: Leading, coaching, and developing the warehouse team, including effective delegation of tasks and responsibilities to foster a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
Strategic Projects in SPM: Initiating, planning, and executing strategic projects within the Spare-parts Management sub-department to drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and overall operational excellence.
Other Tasks
Performing essential administrative duties, including managing payments related to spare parts.
Addressing ad-hoc requests efficiently from various platforms, such as Slack and ERPAG.
Developing, documenting, and maintaining comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all spare parts management processes.

Qualifications
Proven experience in a leadership role within spare-parts management, supply chain, or logistics.
Demonstrated expertise in procurement, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution.
Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and their practical application.
Solid experience with European logistics and shipment management.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
Strong project management capabilities, with a focus on delivering results.
Proficiency in relevant ERP systems.
Additional Experience (A Plus)
Experience with ERP and/or 3PL logistics migration projects would be a significant advantage.
