Help set the direction for ECCO’s global tax function
You will provide solid input to the strategic direction of our Corporate Tax department, consisting of 7 colleagues, out of which you will manage 2 – a Tax Manager and a Transfer Pricing Specialist. Here, you will join a supportive environment where we enjoy working at the office – although working from home 1-2 days a week is a possibility.
Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will take on both leadership duties and your own specialist tasks. This means that you will among other things:
- Lead and motivate your team of highly specialized professionals, to ensure a positive tax impact on the business
- Advise the Group on complex tax matters – including international corporate tax and employee taxation.
- Ensure accurate tax handling for the Danish joint taxation group – including tax accounting, returns, and audits
- Drive and optimize internal tax reporting and forecasting processes, such as quarterly and annual closings
- Implement standardization and support automation of tax processes across countries and functions
Seasoned tax professional with a global perspective
You bring a strong track record in international corporate tax and excel at collaborating and communicating in complex, high-impact environments. At the same time, you keep an eye out for the colleagues you manage, knowing how to best support them in their journey of personal growth.
Furthermore, we imagine that you:
- Have a relevant master’s degree within finance, accounting or tax
- Have some years of experience in corporate and international tax, either from a large organization or consultancy
- Have knowledge of OECD transfer pricing guidelines, tax accounting standards, compliance requirements, indirect tax, and employee taxation
- Are fluent in Danish and English
