Job Description


Are you a visionary technologist with a passion for solving real-world business challenges? Do you get a thrill from turning complex problems into elegant solutions—and then presenting them with flair? If so, you might be the Solution Architect (Presales) we’re looking for!

In this high-impact role, you’ll be the technical mastermind behind our sales efforts, working closely with clients to understand their needs and design tailored solutions using the powerful suite of IFS.com software offerings—from ERP to EAM and FSM. You’ll be the bridge between business and technology, helping customers see what’s possible and guiding them toward transformation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with sales to uncover customer needs and craft visionary, value-driven solutions using IFS software.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, solution design workshops, and product demonstrations that inspire and engage.
  • Architect end-to-end solutions that align with customer goals, industry best practices, and IFS capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, future-proof architectures.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building confidence through technical expertise and strategic insight.
  • Stay sharp with deep knowledge of IFS offerings, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications


Must-Haves:

  • A strong IT background—whether through education, experience, or both.
  • A burning passion for software and a natural drive to sell and succeed.
  • 2+ years in a technical presales, solution engineering, or similar customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—you can turn complex tech into compelling stories.
  • Experience with enterprise software (ERP, EAM, FSM, CRM, etc.)—IFS experience is a huge plus!
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with a hunger to learn and grow.

Bonus Points For:

  • Hands-on experience with IFS Cloud or other IFS solutions.
  • Familiarity with industries like manufacturing, aerospace, energy, or service management.
  • A knack for building rapport and trust with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A sense of humor and a love for collaboration.
