Senior Project Manager – Finance Transformation & Process Optimization

In this role you’ll make an impact…
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate finance-related projects, ensuring structured execution and successful outcomes. Your role involves facilitating project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, while engaging with stakeholders to drive progress. You will help analyze processes, identify improvements, and support the implementation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
In addition, some of your key tasks will include:
- Applying structured project management practices to finance initiatives, acting as the central connection point for stakeholders across various teams.
- Focus on delivering well-facilitated projects, with a results-driven approach, clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Taking on a hands-on role in certain initiatives, diving into project details and execution, while adjusting involvement based on project needs and team capacities.
- Identifying and involving appropriate stakeholders at key project stages, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Support processes optimization initiatives across corporate finance and business finance, driving implementation and change management to ensure successful adoption.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Corporate Finance and Business Finance and engage with colleagues in other supporting functions as well as Line of Business.
What we expect you to bring…
We seek a positive, proactive and results-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing finance projects, experience in supporting process improvements, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Excellent communication skills and an in-depth understanding of financial principles and project management methodologies are essential.
Additionally, we expect you to have the following background:
- Preferably a master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- +5 years of experience from project management, finance transformation, consultancy or process optimization, preferably from more than one international company.
- Experience with running multiple projects at the same time, managing project workstreams and stakeholders, while reporting to steering committees.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Danish is a plus.
You should be energetic, result-oriented, and capable of working independently while being proactive and analytical. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is a collaborative team spirit.
