Strategic legal partner for R&D and Clinical Operations
As Senior Legal Counsel at Pharmacosmos, you will take on a central role supporting the companys R&D and Clinical functions including Clinical Operations, Nonclinical and Translational Development, and Clinical Pharmacology. Reporting directly to EVP Legal, you will provide strategic and pragmatic legal advice to help advance research and development projects in a compliant and business-focused way. You will support multiple clinical and nonclinical studies simultaneously and handle a broad range of legal tasks spanning risk management, project execution, and stakeholder collaboration. A key part of the role is drafting, reviewing, and negotiating clinical and research-related agreements, including CTAs, CDAs, vendor and consultancy agreements, and investigator-initiated study contracts. You will also work with patient informed consent forms, support development of templates and fallback documentation, and contribute to contract strategy and process optimization. With a focus on data protection and regulatory compliance, you will advise on complex topics such as participant privacy, non-compliance, and digital health. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the Legal function, third-party partners, and external legal counsel to support high-quality, efficient execution of clinical and research activities.
Experienced legal advisor with R&D insight and sound judgment
You hold a Master of Laws or a comparable legal/business education and bring strong legal experience from a pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO setting ideally with a focus on R&D or Clinical and are familiar with clinical research, data privacy, frameworks such as GxP and GDPR, and a wide range of research-related contracts. Your ability to navigate complex legal matters with sound judgment and excellent analytical skills enables you to identify key issues and drive solutions efficiently. You are fluent in both Danish and English and think in processes and outcomes rather than legal theory alone, and you approach your role with a commercial perspective and a strong sense of ownership.
On a personal level, you are structured, solution-oriented, and thrive in a hands-on role with high responsibility and impact. You approach legal tasks with curiosity, commercial understanding, and a collaborative mindset. You are resilient, can prioritize across multiple studies, and are motivated by using your legal skills to support meaningful innovation in a purpose-driven company.
