(Senior) Customer Service Specialist
Reporting to: Customer Operation Manager
Job role and purpose:
Due to continued growth, 3stepIT is looking to hire a new (Senior) Customer Service Specialist to meet increasing demand from customers and partners — especially within the area of insurance services. You will be part of the Operations team and report directly to Christian Østergaard, Customer Operations Manager.
You will work closely with our Key Account Managers, supporting a diverse range of partners and customers. This role focuses on insurance-related services, including managing a high volume of inquiries and orders from customers, partners, and insurance companies.
Your main responsibilities will include handling orders, processing returns and buyouts, and performing insurance-related customer service tasks, where the workflow relies on Excel for data processing and reporting. You will collaborate with suppliers, partners, and end customers, while also coordinating with the insurance company and IT repair providers to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
Additionally, you will support sales, partners, and customers in resolving issues related to the use and management of our insurance offerings.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver customer service related to 3stepIT’s insurance offerings, including our CarePack and All-Risk products
- Handle inquiries and orders from customers and partners
- Coordinate collaboration with our key partners and IT repair partners to ensure smooth service delivery
- Manage return options, buyout handling, and swaplists
- Investigate device coverage and eligibility
- Act as service owner for insurance-related services, driving improvements and maintaining documentation
- Support the sales team in implementing new services and processes
- Participate in development projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Solve complex customer cases and ensure high-quality service delivery
Qualifications and experience:
- Commercial education and experience in document and contract handling
- Experience with B2B customers (private and public sector)
- Knowledge of insurance, IT channel, leasing, or related industries
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
- Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Outgoing and collaborative, with a strong customer focus
- Structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain overview
- Solution-oriented and proactive in handling challenges
- High integrity, engagement, and willingness to support customers and partners
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and values teamwork and humor

3stepIT Denmark currently employs 25 people. The local leadership team includes Managing Director Lasse Garby, Sales Director Mark Christensen, Customer Operations Manager Christian Østergaard, and Finance Manager Michael B. Friis.
The team consists of four individuals in finance and administration, seven in customer service, and 13 in sales and product management.
