The Supply & Demand Technology team builds and innovates global Digital solutions for the entire supply chain in the LEGO Group, which are vital to delivering great play experiences.
We handle massive and fast-changing amounts of data, and our products are the foundation for planning the supply, production, and distribution of LEGO products globally.
Our solutions essentially impact all our factories as well as our entire supply chain.
Being able to handle frequent changes in planning and master data is complex and requires smart and robust solutions to ensure an optimal flow in the factories and distribution. This is why we focus on quality, speed, skilled and motivated people and modern software development practices to accomplish this.
The position is part of Site Planning, a product team under Supply & Demand Technology, responsible for Production Transactions & Production Planning. We are looking for an enthusiastic new engineer to join us onto our upcoming big challenges ahead, such as an S/4HANA transformation, renovation of legacy ABAP code onto new technology stacks and API development.
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience in S/4HANA ABAP development
- Experience with ABAP Cloud development, in SAP BTP (ABAP RAP)
- Experience in API design and implementation (OpenAPI & AsyncAPI)
- Experience with Supply & Demand planning domain (SAP PP Module)
- Experience in traditional ABAP development is expected (RICEFW ABAP 7.5)
- A curious teammate that continuously learns, naturally shares knowledge, and challenges status quo
- Enjoy delivering sustainable solutions with quality over quantity always considering performance and security
- Experience working in an agile development team
- Experience working with solutions that support business processes
You will have an edge over others if you bring:
- Experience with Git, preferably abapGit
- Experience with SAP Clean Core, aimed at new extensibility concepts (key user, developer, side-by-side)
- Familiar with GitHub
- Enjoy a CI/CD development approach
Knowledge of other coding languages such as:
- Node.js
- JavaScript
- SAP CAP
