Could you be the full-time Project Test and Commissioning Technician we are looking for in Copenhagen?
Your future role
Denmark has set an ambitious goal to upgrade its entire mainline railway network with state-of-the-art ERTMS level 2 baseline 3 signalling technology. Alstom is helping to turn this ambition to reality and has started deploying the new signalling technology. This technology is stable and secure, and it will drastically improve the passenger experience by reducing the number of delays and increasing transport capacity.
As a member of T&C (Test and Commissioning) team you will apply your skills to this complex and ambitious project. You will work alongside a team of innovative and dedicated professionals to carry out the activities (inspections, equipment start-up, testing) aimed at ensuring that the system is safe, reliable and ready for use.
We’ll look to you for:
As a T&C technician your main task is to prepare and execute field test activities. You will:
- Prepare test activities: collect design documentation & technical drawings, study test procedures, prepare test tools (check tools are in working order and properly configured/calibrated),
- Carry-out the tests/inspections, analyze test results and write test reports,
- Report defects / non-conformities (description and associated test context),
- Manage the configuration of the hardware and software items under test,
- Follow railway Health & safety rules.
The work involves travel to project sites and work on or along railway tracks (outdoor or inside technical buildings) and work is often carried out during nights and/or weekends.

- Technical degree in electronics or electrical engineering or equivalent experience in a function in an industrial environment
- Flexibility and mobility, available for short or long technical interventions in different locations
- Available to work on site also for night shifts as well as during weekends and public holidays
- Rigorous & team player
- Problem solving skills
- Good oral and written English skills. Proficiency in Danish is a real plus
- Driving license
Previous railway or signalling experience (testing or maintenance) is desirable but not mandatory.
