Are you ready to shape the future of space with Terma, and do you want to take the lead in driving the strategic direction and commercial success of our space portfolio?
We are facing an exciting future with considerable growth and demanding changes, as we deliver advanced technologies and mission critical solutions for the defense and aerospace industry. Our systems provide security for people on land, at sea and in the air. Since the 1970s, Terma has contributed to numerous international space missions, covering all mission phases—from early feasibility studies to realization, operation, and exploitation of results. Therefore, we are looking for a Product Manager - Space to become part of this journey helping define and lead the future of our space portfolio and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.
Your role in our team
As Product Manager – Space, you will play a central role in shaping, developing, and executing the strategy for our space product portfolios—including both flight and ground segment hardware/software. You will transform visionary ideas into scalable product investments that drive customer value and profitable growth.
You will join our Product Management Department, which is part of our Research & Development (R&D). Our team manages a diverse and innovative product portfolio across the Space, Aero, Ground, and Maritime domains through our Radar and Multi-Domain Systems (MDS) portfolios. As a Product Manager, you will balance three essential focus areas: Strategic, Commercial, and Product development.
The Product Management team is located in Lystrup and Søborg, and we foster a collaborative culture that prioritizes competencies, knowledge sharing, and team synergy over specific locations.
Our team ensures that our products remain relevant, high-quality, and profitable throughout the full lifecycle. We use a stage-gate model that governs the journey from idea to product retirement. The department works at the intersection of R&D, business areas, and customer engagement, ensuring strong alignment between technical development and market needs.
How you will make a meaningful contribution

- Define and own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and business case for the space portfolio
- Identify and prioritize new product opportunities to build a robust activity pipeline
- Drive the development and execution of product roadmaps aligned with our growth strategy
- Support product profitability and performance across the full lifecycle
- Facilitate collaboration across Sales, R&D, Finance, Business Areas, and other key stakeholders
- Translate customer and market needs into technically sound, scalable, and commercially viable solutions
- Build strong business cases and ensure measurable follow-up on product performance
- Stay abreast of space industry trends, with a focus on ground segment and mission operations
Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague who has:
- 5–10 years of experience in the space industry (preferably with exposure to both ground and flight segments)
- Solid background in product and/or portfolio management
- Experience with mission operations or space ground segment systems is a strong plus
- Familiarity with customer-centric innovation
As a person, you are a strategic thinker with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to influence across functions and levels. Moreover, you are proactive and with a high level of initiative, you are able to drive decisions and deliver results. With a structured and analytical mindset, you have the ability to manage complex portfolios and with clear communication you can engage effectively across disciplines and geographies.
We are an international company representing world class expertise, delivering complex and high-tech products. We value our colleagues and our meaningful contributions to securing people through advanced technology. You will also experience that we have a strong focus on your development, teaching you useful new competences and further strengthening current ones, both professionally and personally. Our company culture is autonomous and engaging, and we acknowledge the importance of flexibility in a great working environment.
