Here, you will step into a key role where you will support and cooperate with our production as you help them develop and implement new technology and manufacturing processes to accommodate new product introductions.
About the job
Joining our Industrial Engineering team as Industrial Engineer you will be instrumental in the development and continuous improvement of our panes production and product introduction factory in Brædstrup. You will be part of a skilled team of 12 and report directly to Industrial Engineering Manager, Mikkel Theilgaard Enggård.
As a technical point of contact between product development, equipment manufacturers, project management and your colleagues in production, you will spend the majority of your time in the production devoting your time to:
Communicating and cooperating closely with colleagues in production, logistics, finance, QHSE and global functions to succeed on our common goals
Participating in product introduction projects with a wide variety of stakeholders
Coordinating and ensuring that product changes are implemented smoothly into the production environment
Identifying, planning and realizing continuous improvements to existing equipment and processes
Running small-scale projects including managing the project triangle of economy, scope and resources, and administrative tasks
Reporting on project status to its sponsor and stakeholders (internal / external)
Creating lessons learned from your projects - learning from mistakes and sharing conclusions to improve in the future
Creating the basis for decisions, e.g. for purchase of machines for manufacturing
Preparing the technology concept in close cooperation with internal and external partner
The role includes some level of international travel activity to support the sourcing of equipment. Approximately 20 days per year should be expected.
About you
With your inquisitive nature, you actively seek out knowledge, especially when interacting with your colleagues working the floor in production. Eager to understand the ins and outs of our various tools and equipment, you use your analytical mindset and keen process understanding to find ways of improving these and developing new ones, and you take a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Furthermore, you are known for your ability to listen, always aiming to find solutions through collaboration and dialogue. You thrive with a close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, and you have a profound ability to build relationships and utilize these to get valuable information needed to optimize our production. With your structured approach, you efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure each one is completed on time and with attention to quality.
Moreover, you:
Have a technical degree, probably a degree in engineering, e.g. operations engineering, automation engineering, marine engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering or similar, or alternatively you have a background as electrician, production technologist or similar and experience in design for manufacturing.
Have some years of experience from a similar role, navigating in a production environment and being the interface between development functions and technical implementation in production
Have some experience managing smaller projects, and are familiar with the discipline and toolbox of project management
Speak and write English at a professional level. Danish will be an advantage but not a prerequisite

Our team consists of 12 colleagues including 3 industrial engineers ready to welcome you onboard.
