Head of the Engineering Branch Department Danmark - Copenhagen
The candidate is a visionary, results-driven civil engineer with a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary engineering teams. He or she has a strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, project management and regulatory compliance and can turn strategic goals into successful, high-quality projects. The candidate also has strong knowledge of the local market and clients in the geographical area, and can prepare tenders for private and public clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the civil engineering department, aligning operations with the company's growth objectives, including expansion into the UK market.
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with regulations, and adherence to quality, budget, and timeline targets.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage resources, budgets, and project pipelines to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to secure new business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
Ideal candidate profile:
- Master's or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience.
- Strong technical expertise in the design of infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop engineering teams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and branch performance.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional proficiency in French or German or Italian.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
