We have an exciting opportunity in our Embedded Software team at Trackman, where we are growing rapidly to develop, produce, and deploy our market-leading sports tracking solutions.
We are looking for an Embedded software developer to be part of the development of our platforms used for new and in-market products together with a team of highly skilled developers. The platform is used on products across multiple sports with new products being added frequently as part of the rapid growth of Trackman so there will be lots of opportunities to have an impact and grow.
You will have a leading role in design and development of both current and new BSPs for future products where cybersecurity will have a focus.
Job responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Yocto-based BSPs for current and future embedded products.
Implement and optimize embedded software in C++ and Python, ensuring high performance, reliability, testability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with hardware engineers, tracking developers, and product managers in a cross-functional team to deliver market-leading sports tracking solutions.
Integrate cybersecurity best practices, such as secure boot.
Contribute to Linux kernel configuration, device tree modifications, and driver development.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about Yocto and software development in C++ and Python and can actively contribute to innovative feature development.
Experience in embedded Linux development, including hands-on work with Yocto Project for building and customizing BSPs.
Proficiency in C++ and Python for developing, optimizing, and debugging embedded software.
Understanding of Linux kernel configuration, device tree modifications, and driver development.
Experience with cybersecurity practices in embedded systems, such as secure boot and firmware integrity.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team, with strong problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in IP-based networking protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP) and Wi-Fi, with experience in configuring and optimizing network communication for embedded systems
