- Volunteers for the museum are wanted – including an electrician
Would you like to be part of a community where you work with historic warships and, among other things, contribute to keeping them in good condition? At the Ships Museum on Holmen, we are looking for more volunteers for our technical team, which is responsible for maintenance and repairs on the former naval vessels: Peder Skram, Sehested and Sælen.
We need an electrician
Are you a retired electrician – or do you have experience with electricity – and would you like to use your skills in historical and exciting surroundings? Then you are the one we need. The museum's technical team is looking for a volunteer to help with minor electrical tasks, inspections and repairs on board the ships. You decide how often you have time – we appreciate every effort.
Technically interested people are also very welcome
Even if you are not skilled, you are still needed. We have many different tasks that are solved together, and you are welcome to join if you want to learn and help with repairs, maintenance and practical tasks on board.
️ We are also looking for volunteer guides
Are you social, welcoming and good at communicating? Then we need you to welcome our guests and tell them about the history of the ships and their significance. As a guide, you will be an important part of the guests' experience, and we will provide the necessary training.
