We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Delivery Director with extensive experience in the software services industry to join our team in Copenhagen or Malmö.
This role involves leading complex transformation programs and initiatives for a key regional client. You will manage multiple workstreams and coordinate efforts between local and international teams. As the primary person responsible for delivery, you will oversee program execution, ensure client satisfaction, and align projects with strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets. You will collaborate with award-winning teams specializing in design, development, and technology, driving innovation and building strong business and technology partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of delivering a high-impact transformation program for a pharmaceutical client
- Develop and nurture client relationships, ensuring alignment of goals and representing delivery efforts at governance meetings
- Manage multiple workstreams to achieve success in areas such as finance, sourcing, implementation, and business outcomes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, engineers, architects, and quality assurance experts, to create project estimates, delivery plans, and conduct retrospectives
- Identify risks early and address them proactively, escalating major issues when necessary
- Support business development by identifying opportunities for growth with existing and prospective clients
- Engage in pre-sales activities, such as preparing proposals, defining delivery strategies, and presenting solution architectures and implementation frameworks
Requirements
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, with deep knowledge of business models, particularly in Development and R&D
- Strong expertise in cloud and data platforms, including Databricks, Data Mesh, AI/ML, AI Strategy, and Snowflake, with a focus on Life Sciences applications
- Advanced understanding of AI/ML solutions and their applications within the Life Sciences field
- Thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, with experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Proven ability to deliver complex programs, manage stakeholder relationships at all levels, and lead successful IT service engagements
- Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and collaborate effectively within diverse and distributed teams
- Excellent communication, planning, and presentation skills
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Extensive expertise in Agile frameworks and iterative delivery methods for creating scalable and modern solutions
- Practical experience with software engineering practices, allowing you to guide technical decisions and implement effective delivery approaches
- Significant experience delivering data-driven projects and a strong understanding of data management concepts, including governance, quality, integration, and lifecycle management
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and coordinate distributed delivery teams across client and EPAM
