Core Responsibilities
Evaluate and advise general day-to-day matters and on the tax impact for projects, legislative changes and ad hoc advisories in the business that may impact the processes and/or tax control environment
Monitor local legislation
Advice on general tax matters
Tax audits
Tax risk and opportunity finding, assuring the mitigation plan is pursued
Identify and resolve tax incidents, address tax queries from business
Play a key part in the ERP Transformation’s tax stream as business representative for tax across design, build, test and deployment.
Support and drive effective execution of the design and build of the future SAP S/4 HANA platform through requirements gathering, analyses of data and collaborative information gathering across the diverse stakeholder groups.
You excel in transparency in on-going tasks and ability to call out early indications of risks.
Work well both independently and as part of a team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely delivery of milestones.
Ability to work and execute in agile environments.
Identify tax process improvements enabled by the new ERP S/4 HANA system and drive simplification where possible.
Proactively manage change by engaging stakeholders to facilitate decision making and ensure adoption of new ways of working, incl. alignment with tax colleagues across the Group.
Support tax-related data migration activities (e.g. tax codes, customer/vendor master data).
Take part in shaping and driving user acceptance testing (UAT) and training for tax- relevant functionality.
Do you have what it takes ?
Tax experience, ideally from a role in an in-house tax team working with compliance, processes and improvement projects with a Big 4 firm.
Experience in cross-functional project work or transformation initiatives, track record in change management, transformation execution and stakeholder engagement across all levels of an organisation.
SAP S4/HANA implementation experience, enabling you to understand both technical system implications and how it relates to the business and tax.
Find joy and energy in driving tasks forward with a structured mindset, attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Financial education above Bachelor Level, alternatively a project or program management knowledge with an understanding of integration to finance.
