At DTU Space Ventures, we manage the ESA Business Incubation Centre and the ESA Technology Broker — two programs from the European Space Agency that help startups and companies turn bold ideas into real businesses in the growing space economy. That means we support companies in many industries (like AI, Cyber Security, 3D printing and Manufacturing) and help them develop new technology for the space industry. In addition, we help companies within earthbound sectors to use data from space to build better solutions for Earth.
Now we’re looking for a marketing student assistant to join our mission and help spread the word. Your job? Help us tell the story of Danish space innovation, build our digital presence, and maybe make a few Earthlings curious about what’s happening beyond the atmosphere.
What you’ll be doing:
- Posting content at LinkedIn channel (think less corporate fluff, more “look what this awesome startup is doing”)
- Producing newsletters and setting up email automations in Mailchimp or a similar tool.
- Maintaining our website.
- Being part of planning and managing digital campaigns with our marketing team
- Tracking what works, what doesn’t, and why — bonus points if you know your way around Google Analytics or similar tools.
Our expectations of you:
- You’re studying marketing, comms, business or something similar — and have at least a year left of your studies
- You like writing (yes, ChatGPT can help — but you know when it’s being weird)
- You’re curious about tech, startups, and maybe space
- You’re proactive, organised, and able to prioritise your tasks (things never get quiet in this position)
- Some experience with LinkedIn, Meta, email tools or analytics is nice — but not required if you’re the type to roll up your sleeves and figure things out

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the multi-union collective agreement for the Organisations of Public Employees—Denmark (State) (OAO-S) and the trade union agreement for clerical staff etc. (HK/State).
Working hours are on average 15-20 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc.
Starting date is October 1st (or according to mutual agreement). The employment runs as long as you are an active student (max 6 years).
The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
