Then join our Treasury team in Arla Foods at the head office in Viby, Denmark. We are currently looking to recruit a student assistant to support us in our work as soon as possible.
How will you make an impact?
In this role as a student assistant, you will be exposed to all aspects of financing, converting your text-book knowledge into practical support of the Treasury Team with ad-hoc tasks, insights analysis and projects as well as hands-on experience. You will join our team based in Viby with 5 colleagues. Tasks will vary, but you can expect to take part in:
- Ad hoc financial research and analysis to support Arla’s treasury priorities and KPIs
- Improve and develop reporting tools and databases including data extraction from SAP/Business Warehouse
- Drive own selected tasks and projects to increase Treasury efficiency
- Hands on experience with selected recurring treasury tasks
- Participate in SAP Treasury system optimization and implementation
- Assist in and prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders
What will make you successful?
You will ideally be studying for an economic or finance degree at the University/Business School and will be finishing your bachelor’s degree or having started you master’s degree. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have profound interest in financial markets, instruments and the theory behind. Has a flair for numbers and mathematics’ and the ability to turn theory into practice. Proficiency in Power BI and VBA is a requirement. Experience with other programming languages, such as Python and SQL, is considered an advantage but not mandatory.
We expect that you are used to work independently and systematically, with attention to details and will feel comfortable juggling several tasks at the same time. Lastly, you should have good communication skills, fluent in English, be strong at creating new relationships and comfortable with working with multiple stakeholders.
The position is approximately 7-15 hours weekly spread over a couple of days a week with start as soon as possible. Flexibility is required as the workload may vary.
