About the Role
Governance, Risk & Control (GRC) is seeking a highly motivated Student Assistant to join our Program & Project Team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply core program and project skills while contributing to Maersk’s risk and control management, rooted in our core value of Constant Care.
You will support the coordination and execution of daily operational program activities to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery. This includes assisting with strategic projects related to the implementation of risk and control methodologies across Maersk, as well as supporting capacity planning for both business-as-usual tasks and ad hoc initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
As a Student Assistant, you will play an active role in driving progress on key initiatives that shape how we manage risk and control across Maersk. Your tasks will include:
- Assisting in sprint and capacity planning to determine feasible activities and projects throughout the year
- Drafting project initiation and engagement documents
- Supporting initiatives to strengthen the program framework, such as updating presentations and improving planning documents
- Undertaking ad hoc assignments to support the team’s strategic goals
Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Student Assistant who is:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, within a strategic or generalist field, and has at least one year left in their studies
- Able to manage recurring tasks - thriving in structured routines and approaches them with energy and focus
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
- Interested in project and program management
- A reliable, organized team player with a collaborative mindset and international outlook
- Professional, ethical, and always looking to improve ways of working
