Join our Program and Project Management Office (PMO), part of the Strategy & Program Management Centre of Excellence (CoE) within the Life Sciences and Diagnostics Group (LDG). Based in Glostrup, Denmark, our PMO is a strategic partner driving critical pathology programs and projects that bring life-saving products to market.
As a (Senior) Project & Portfolio Manager, you will be the right hand to the Head of PMO—leading our project portfolio, enhancing governance processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making. You’ll also coach and mentor PMO members, ensuring clear, compelling communication and stakeholder engagement. Occasionally, you may lead strategic initiatives that shape the future of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Portfolio Management:
- Oversee and manage the cross-functional project portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, resource optimization, and timely delivery.
- Own the development and maintenance of project reporting tools and dashboards to provide clear visibility into project status, risks, and performance metrics.
- Governance & Execution Model:
- Manage and continuously improve the PMO governance model, project execution framework, and supporting processes to drive consistency and quality.
- Coaching & Capability Building
- Collaborate with the LDG PMO CoE to design and align on training programs that enhance project management capabilities across the organization.
- Provide coaching and support to project & program managers, including internal reviews of critical presentations and deliverables to ensure high standards.
- Ad Hoc Project Leadership:
- Lead or support special projects as needed, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
- PMO Management Support:
- Being a sparring partner to the Head of PMO and support with ad hoc requests.
Manage project management tool (i.e. Asana) licenses and ensure optimal usage across teams, including user onboarding, training, and license allocation.

Qualifications
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Comprehensive experience in project and portfolio management within pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or other regulated industries.
- Certified in PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project, Jira).
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in global or matrixed organizations.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
