Senior Data Analyst
SYBO is part of the Miniclip family and known for the widely popular game, Subway Surfers, the most downloaded mobile game in the world, with over four billion downloads. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, we aim to create playful moments that inspire our fans to care.
We’re on the hunt for a sharp-minded, insight-hungry Game Analyst to join one of our flagship game teams, Subway Surfers, a genre-defining title with an evergreen player base and a whole lot of heart.
This role will combine hands-on analysis with strategic influence, helping shape the future of Subway Surfers through data-driven insights. This isn’t just about crunching numbers, it’s about understanding our players behind them. That means diving deep into player behaviours, running tests with purpose, and guiding product decisions that create long-term joy.

Responsibilities
Partner with the Lead Analyst to deliver actionable insights on game performance, player behaviour, and content updates
Own the design, execution, and readout of A/B tests, including defining success metrics and interpreting results
Lead advanced analyses on player behavior, retention, engagement, monetization, and live operations.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations in Looker for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Query and process large datasets using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting
Define and create player segments based on behavioural, demographic, and engagement data to enable targeted analysis, personalised experiences, and strategic decision-making
Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to influence feature development and live-ops strategies. with data-backed recommendations
Advocate for data-driven culture,help establish best practices in game analytics

Expect lots of support, onboarding sessions, and good conversations with game designers, product folks, and other analysts.
Within 3 months...
You’ll be leading your first couple of A/B tests, providing insights on economy balancing, and segmentation strategy. Get ready to start owning dashboards, delivering insights that drive content and feature decisions, and partnering closely with the game team to define KPIs and hypotheses.
By 12 months...
You’ll have made a measurable impact on player experience, game economy health, and decision-making speed. Your work will be deeply embedded in how we build and iterate the game, and you’ll be known as a go-to person for both sharp insights and strategic thinking. You’ll have helped us level up our analytical maturity and you’ll probably have taught us a thing or two along the way.
Requirements
Proven experience in game analytics or related data-heavy roles, ideally within free-to-play mobile games
Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar). Strong foundation in statistics and experiment design.
Understanding of A/B methodology, ideally with practical experience or strong statistical knowledge
Deep interest in gaming, with curiosity to understand player motivations, behaviors, and monetization strategies.
Clear communicator who translates complex insights into compelling stories and effectively influences decisions across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bonus Points
Familiarity with LookML or experience building custom data models in Looker
