We are looking for a motivated and experienced Business Functional Specialist for our squad ‘Payment s Denmark’. In the Core Payments Platform Tribe, we support the everyday banking needs of our customers by delivering best-in-class payment systems that orchestrates payments seamlessly in our target markets. We bring efficiency through standardization while making it our utmost priority to ensure the platform is highly performant, always compliant, secure and available 24-7.

As our new Business Functional Specialist, you will be working in an environment where we take the agile mind-set seriously and where you can help identify and implement improvements if you find situations where we could do better. By joining our team, you will play an important role in:
- Developing and refining requirements to increase the quality and efficiency of technical solutions. This is done by translating the business or the respective function needs into clear objectives and requirements.
- Help calibrating the Squad user-stories with stakeholder inputs e.g., and you will have a role in testing.
- Transforming business needs into user stories in close collaboration with your squad and the Product Owner.
- Role modelling high levels of integrity and are adept in how to resolve challenges. You put strong emphasis on collaboration and know how to balance different perspectives finding the optimal solution.
Curious and business-oriented individual
We are looking for a curious and business-oriented professional with an interest in analysis and a strong understanding of business and functional needs. You are experienced in agile methodologies and their practical application. Knowledge within the payment domain, particularly from a clearing perspective, is essential. Ideally, you are familiar with payment/clearing schemes, transactions, and the ISO 20022 format. We also expect that you bring:
- A solid understanding of payments, with preferred expertise in the Danish payment domain
- The ability to engage in sector dialogues if needed and contribute to defining the future direction of payments in Denmark
- Motivation to learn from experienced colleagues and adapt to evolving situations
- Testing skills and hands-on approach to problem solving
- Strong communication skills to bridge business requirements with engineers, stakeholders, and other target groups
- An interest in the technical aspects of payments and a drive to develop your knowledge
Additionally, you are fluent in Danish, based in Denmark, and able to work from our Copenhagen Domicile.
