Onsite IT Supporter

Solution-Oriented IT Supporter
As an IT Supporter, you will join a team of five dedicated professionals supporting JBT Marel employees across four locations in Denmark, with a primary focus on Støvring. You’ll work closely with another IT Supporter in Støvring and collaborate with two experienced colleagues in Aarhus, as well as the global IT team.
You will report to the IT Regional Team Leader, Anders Persson. You’ll participate in weekly IT meetings Danish IT team, and monthly Northern Europe team meetings with other regional teams.

Strong IT Skills with a Service-Oriented Mindset
You thrive on solving diverse IT challenges and are eager to tackle technical issues as they arise. You build strong relationships with colleagues and internal stakeholders—both locally and globally. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing general user support for all IT-related issues via a standard IT request system—both in-person and remotely
- Preparing, configuring, and deploying client systems using SCCM, including updates
- Installing, configuring, and supporting desktop applications, including the Windows Office Suite
- Maintaining system setups and installation data related to system configuration
- Managing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and knowledge base
- Analyze trends for ways to prevent future problems. Alert Service Delivery management to emerging trends in incidents.
- Preparing, configuring, and distributing mobile devices including Android phones, iPhones, and iPads, and guiding colleagues in their use
- Supporting other installations such as printers, Active Directory changes, and user account administration
- Participating in ongoing IT development and update projects
- Assist in software releases and roll-outs and communication to the end users.
- Record, track and document the service desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
- Build rapport and elicit problem details from service desk customers.
What kind of person are you?
Our Støvring location includes both production and office staff, so it’s essential that you can support and guide colleagues with varying levels of IT expertise and you’re able to communicate effectively with employees on-site and at other locations including internationally via email, telephone, and in-person.
You are:
- Skilled in IT problem-solving
- Structured and able to complete IT tasks on time
- Service-minded with strong communication skills
- Proactive and eager to prevent potential IT issues
- Open to feedback from colleagues and users
- Comfortable working in a virtual team—both regionally and globally
- Proficient in Danish and English, both written and spoken
- As part of a global IT team, occasional travel to other Marel locations, such as Boxmeer in the Netherlands, may be required.
What you bring with you:
- University degree in the field of computer technology preferred.
- Experience with a comprehensive knowledge of PC hardware installation, repair, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Application support experience, preferably with Windows PC hardware/software, Windows Active Directory
- Understanding of ITILv3 processes. Foundation certification a plus.
