With our flagship restaurant in Carlsberg Byen and a growing network of locations, we’re on a journey to take brunch to the next level.
Your Role:
As Head Chef, you’ll lead the kitchen team at our flagship location, overseeing everything from menu development and daily operations to prep production for our other stores. You’ll play a key role in shaping the food identity of Cadence, with a strong focus on restaurant-style technique, bold international flavours, and a commitment to quality in a daytime setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve our brunch and new dinner menu in line with the Cadence concept and culinary standards
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to build a strong, consistent team culture
- Oversee prep production and coordination for our satellite locations
- Ensure consistency and quality, while supporting food rollouts and seasonal changes across all locations
- Maintain full responsibility for kitchen operations - including ordering, inventory management, and supplier coordination
- Monitor and control kitchen costs, food waste, and portioning
- Develop and refine systems and workflows to support a high-volume, high-quality service
- Uphold hygiene, safety, and compliance standards across all kitchen activity
- Collaborate with our management and bakery teams to support events, catering, and menu innovation
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or senior kitchen leader, ideally in a high-volume or fast-paced environment
- Strong familiarity with brunch-style cooking and broad knowledge of international cuisine
- Confidence in using restaurant-style techniques within a daytime service format
- A hands-on, solutions-focused leader with a collaborative mindset
- Skilled in kitchen management, food cost control, and supplier relations
- A passion for seasonal produce, creative plating, and balanced, health-forward food
