Contracts Manager 

Role Context: 

Worley are currently bidding for a well-recognized Danish green hydrogen project (EPCM), this project is set to start in the south of Denmark and EPCM is estimated to run for 4 years. This project is part of a large European strategy and is important in Denmark's efforts to reduce greenhouse gases and improve renewable energy. The project includes a greenfield large onshore pipeline and an existing methane pipeline. Please note this role is subject to project award on a contractual basis, which will commence in Q1 2026. For this project in particular we require individual that are already based in Denmark as no relocation assistance will be provided.

The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing contractual relations within the project. This role involves drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and project specifications. The Contracts Manager will also monitor contractor performance, handle claims, and mitigate contractual risks

You’ll be: 

  • Managing contractual relations within the project.  
  • Drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and project specifications.  
  • Monitoring contractor performance, handle claims, and mitigate contractual risks. 
  • Using the experience you have with international contract frameworks (e.g., FIDIC, NEC).  
  • Familiar with understanding  contractual law, risk management, and claims resolution.  
  • Managing contracts with multinational contractors and suppliers.  

You’ll have: 

  • Contract Management experience on large-scale onshore EPC projects within oil & gas, renewables or relevant industry.  
  • A Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or Law (or equivalent)  
  • A Membership or Fellowship of a relevant recognised professional Institution (e.g., RICS) (preferred)  
  • Other qualifications in a relevant specialism (preferred)  
  • Extensive experience of managing pre-contract processes (including prequalification, preparation of Invitations to Tender, selection and award of contracts)  
  • Extensive experience of managing all post-award processes (general contract administration, change control, claims avoidance and management, final accounting, dispute resolution, etc.)
