Would you like to have a direct impact on how a global organisation manages its entire value chain – from production to retail? And do you want to help improve how we work with human rights and our Code of Conduct in practice?
You will have the opportunity to strengthen an already strong and well-established programme, drive a global, cross-functional community and gain a rare in-depth understanding of the business.
You turn global standards into practical improvements
You’ll be based at ECCO’s headquarters in Tønder, where you’ll join the team behind our Code of Conduct Programme. You’ll work in an organisation responsible for product compliance, environment, health & safety, ESG data, communication and reporting, as well as climate and finding sustainable solutions.
Specifically for the Code of Conduct programme, you will work with two experienced colleagues in China with strong audit backgrounds, as well as a team of part-time internal and external auditors. Together you’ll help drive accountability and improvements across the entire value chain.
As Code of Conduct Consultant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring responsible and improvement-driven practices across ECCO’s own operations and global supplier base. You’ll take ownership of maintaining and developing our Code of Conduct programme and work closely with colleagues across production, procurement, retail and sustainability.
You’ll collaborate across the organisation when you:
- Continually develop and strengthen policies, processes and tools within the Code of Conduct programme.
- Strengthen audit data in close dialogue with relevant internal functions.
- Plan and deliver training for both internal and external auditors.
- Develop and drive ECCO’s internal community of practice.
- Prepare the annual human rights report.
You have experience with compliance in a global context
You thrive on making complex requirements accessible and turning responsibility into action in a busy operational environment. You excel at introducing efficient processes, understand data, work in a structured way and follow through on tasks. Your understanding of Code of Conduct and human rights’ programmes goes beyond the individual audit, you know how to develop a programme and improve the supplier base. You have natural impact and know how to collaborate across functions - from production and procurement to sustainability and senior management.
Furthermore, we imagine that you:
- Hold a relevant master's degree - for example within social sciences, law or economics.
- Have at least 5 years of experience with compliance, audits or human rights in an international company.
- Are confident in delivering training, workshops and knowledge sharing - and enjoy enabling others.
- Have experience working in a matrix organisation and collaborating across departments.
- Move comfortably between systems, data and operations - and know how to get things done
- Experience with human rights reporting
Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.
