We are seeking a proactive Actuary to join our small but dynamic team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be developing and maintaining our data model for IFRS 17 reporting, ensuring compliance with group standards.
You will work closely with our Finance Department consisting of Accounting, Controlling, Risk Management – and the Actuarial Department. Additionally, you will contribute to Financial Reporting & Planning for ERGO Forsikring’s operations in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
Reporting directly to the Head of the Actuarial Department, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues and participate in international projects, including initiatives with the ERGO Group’s Central Reserving Team.
Your Role
As part of the Actuarial Department, which includes the Actuarial Function and the Reserving Team, you will work within a larger global expert network. You will play a key role in ongoing development of our data model for IFRS 17 reporting and reserving, as well as analysing the results of these processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and enhancing our IFRS 17 data model and process.
- Supporting the Finance Department with calculations and reporting for SII, IFRS 17, and local GAAP.
- Structuring, collecting, and verifying data for external audits (interim and annual) and ad hoc internal audits.
- Producing regular run-off reports and insights.
Your Profile
We are looking for a dedicated, independent actuary who balances detailed analysis and data processing with effective communication and teamwork. You should take pride in supporting your colleagues and actively sharing and seeking professional input. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.

Preferred Qualifications
Education: Master of Science in Actuarial Mathematics or similar degree.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience working with insurance data and processes.
- Calculation of insurance technical reserves, preferably in non-life insurance.
- Accounting principles according to DK/NO/SWE GAAP and IFRS 17.
- Working with ResQ or other reserving tools.
- Structuring and processing data for reporting purposes.
Skills:
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Programming skills in R, Python or similar languages.
- Strong understanding of insurance data and the data needs for actuarial calculations.
